Top tips to calm your exam nerves

Exam Stress Image ThursdayIt’s exam season – the most stressful time in the school calendar. We have put together some top tips to help you revise effectively and calm your exam nerves!

Make a plan

Creating a revision plan will clear your head and help you to focus and prioritise what work needs to be done.

Take regular breaks

Don’t just sit and stare at your books for hours on end, take short breaks throughout the day. This can be anything from, going for a walk, to a trip to the gym or meeting up with friends!

Get a good night’s sleep

It is so important to get a good night’s sleep so you are fresh for your exam the next day.

Go Prepared

Set your alarm and head to your exam with plenty of time. Make sure you have all the necessary stationary you need beforehand to avoid unnecessary stress later on.

Take deep breaths

When you come to sit your exam, don’t panic! Take a few deep breathes and read each question thoroughly before starting.
