Rob Foulston – Chairman

Rob acquired Remit in April 2008 in partnership with the RMI.  Rob is a lawyer and worked in the City for many years as a Managing Director of Bankers Trust and Deutsche Bank. He is also currently Chairman of ITEC, an international Awarding Organisation, a Partner at Adam Street Advisers, a corporate finance boutique specialising in education and healthcare and a Partner at Acuity Legal, a law firm specialising in M&A.


Sue Pittock – Chief Executive Officer

Sue joined Remit as Managing Director in August 2013. Sue is professionally qualified with a post grad MBA. Sue has previously assumed leadership positions which have benefitted from her drive and passion by putting the learner at the heart of the business. Sue brings with her over 10 years’ experience of working in the education and training sector.

Sue has successfully driven material business improvements in her previous roles which have resulted in significant growth in revenue and profits. Sue believes these successes are achieved by inspiring people and creating a strong culture of teamwork.


Diane Herft – Managing Director & Group HR Director

Diane joined Remit in September 2015 as Managing Director and to lead the group’s national HR function. She works closely with Remits’ operations around the country to deliver the company’s people strategy to ensure operational excellence. Diane brings a wealth of experience with her, not only from the training and employment sector where her early career began in TEC’s and Business Links, but she has also spent a number of years in healthcare, semiconductors, manufacturing and the financial sector before moving back into the training, education and technology sector where she spent 7 years as HR Director for Tribal’s Education and Technology Division before moving to esg. where she spent 5 years before joining Remit.

MCIPD qualified, Diane has international experience and plays a major part in the group’s continued growth strategy through directing and overseeing its ongoing people and organisational development.


John Rogan – Head Of Finance

Having worked in accountancy practice in Liverpool for over ten years, John then spent the next ten years as Finance Manager on major civil engineering and pipeline projects both domestically and overseas.

John has spent the last 15 years in the work based learning sector with national training providers and joined Remit in 2015.


Kathryn Gundle – Quality and Curriculum Manager

Kathryn has worked in the work-based learning sector for 12 years, specialising in quality and curriculum development. Her previous background was retail management for 20 years before qualifying as a teacher. Kathryn’s focus is to drive the quality of Remit’s delivery and develop the learner journey to ensure each learner experiences an engaging and enhanced programme of learning.
